    ·         On average, these types of work take between 5-20 hours to complete. This means that on average costs are between £1000 and £5,000 depending on whether the work is undertaken by a  caseworker, solicitor. All figures exclude VAT which is charged at 20%. If you reside outside of the UK no VAT is chargeable.

    ·         If a case goes to Judicial Review or Court of Appeal we may consider undertaking the case on a no win no fee basis at an hourly rate of between £160-£300 an hour. The hourly rate depends on the experience of the fee earner

    Disbursements (not included in costs set out above)

    Disbursements are costs that are payable to third parties, such as visa fees. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. The costs quoted above do not include:

    ·         Any Home Office and official fees for making the application. These vary depending on the type of application you are making.

    ·         Where the Home Office refuse your application, we will advise you of the outcome and options available for you but assistance for any appeal will be paid for.

    ·         Fees of independent expert witnesses where required.

    ·         Barrister/Counsel Fees

    ·         Interpreter fees which vary depending on what language you speak and the amount of time spent by the interpreter. If you have somebody who can translate for you, then there may be no need to instruct an interpreter.

    ·         Official translation fees which vary depending on the language and the number of documents requiring translation.

     

    What services are included: The work will involve:

    ·         Discussing your circumstances in detail and advising on the Immigration Rules and your eligibility in relation to the relevant application

    ·         Considering whether any other options are available to you

    ·         Completing the application documentation

    ·         Providing you with a comprehensive checklist outlining what documents are required in support of your application

    ·         Reviewing supporting documentation provided by you and advising if additional evidence is required*

    ·         preparing witness statements

    ·         Preparing a covering letter containing legal submissions in support of your application and submitting the application on your behalf

    ·         Preparing further template documentation where required

    ·         Coordinating Home Office application appointments where necessary

    ·         Liaising with the Home Office in relation to your application if the need arises

    ·         Giving you advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you need to take.

     

    How long will my application take?

    ·         We will normally be able to submit most types of application within 2 weeks of instruction provided we have received all the necessary documents, however in urgent cases we can make an application more quickly.

    ·         We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. However, the current processing times can be found on the Home Office website.

    ·         Please note the anticipated number of hours and fees are estimates based on the average cost in previous cases we have dealt with. All applications are likely to vary and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.
